Meet Our Staff
I'm the Pre-School Manager and have previously trained as Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). I have been with Abbey as a Practitioner since 2008, and prior to that I was chair of the committee whilst. I have been the Manager since 2014 and have brought the Preschool through many changes and improvements, including our most recent Ofsted Inspection. In 2016 I graduated from Worcester University with a BA Hons in Professional Practice in Children's Services. I am fully committed to providing the best possible learning opportunities for each and every child within the setting. I believe that every child should have every opportunity to reach their full potential during their time with us, within an environment that is holistic, engaging and stimulating. It is hugely rewarding and a privilege to see how children grow and the progress during their time with us. I thoroughly enjoy working at Abbey with the staff, parents and of course the children.
I joined Abbey in April 2016 with many years of Early Years experience within a nursery environment. I thoroughly enjoy working with young children and I have a flair for anything artistic or creative.
I joined Abbey in March 2017 and am loving being part of the team and working with the children. I gained my level 3 qualification and worked as a child minder. I enjoy every aspect of working with young children, and the challenges and rewards it offers.
I'm Chloe and I finished school in July 2016 and joined Abbey in September 2016 as a Level 2 Apprentice. I have always wanted to work with children and I am loving being part of the preschool. I successfully completed my Level 2 and am due to complete my Level 3 in May 2019, where I intend to stay at Abbey and continue my early years career.
I have a degree in journalism and gained my Level 3 Childcare Diploma whilst working at Abbey. I have been a member of the team since 2014 and was previously a member of the committee. I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care to the children within the setting, and responsible for co-ordinating the letters and sounds activities to promote literacy within the setting.
I have worked at Abbey since February 2017 and have a foundation degree in early years. I have worked or volunteered in church groups, schools nurseries and child minding settings to support my studying. I enjoy working at Abbey and being part of a busy setting, and particularly enjoy activities that involve singing and dancing. I left Abbey in July 2018 to go travelling, but remain part of the team as bank staff.
I started working at Abbey as a Level 1 Apprentice in 2013 and accepted a permanent position as a Practitioner in early 2016 after completing my Level 2 apprenticeship. I have just completed my Leve 3 in May 2019, which has allowed me to enhance the knowledge and theory that contributes to children's learning. I love working with the children and particularly enjoy physical and outdoor activities.
